HARRY
ZORA
1928 - 2007

Mr. Harry Zora, beloved husband of Mrs. June Zora of
Medicine Hat, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional
Hospital on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the age of 78
years.
Harry was born on the family farm (Victoria Plains) near
Zehner, Sask. , one of nine children born to Mike and
Annie Zora. He was raised on the farm where he
learned at a young age the value of a hard day's
work. This work ethic continued all his life
in various applications. In his earlier years he
was an outdoorsman who liked to go hunting and fishing.
Harry enjoyed nature and all the animals and birds that
caught his attention. He also had quite the green
thumb as a gardener and was known for his tomatoes and
pickles. A man that could grow a garden could also
cook what he grew. His family thinks they
duplicated his cabbage roll recipe but Harry never
revealed his secret ingredients! His wonderful
sense of humor was a part of his personality that
instantly attracted people to him...and all that met
him, liked him. As a devoted family man - husband,
father and best friend to his children and grandfather,
his memory will be greatly cherished by his wife, June;
his children and grandchildren, Greg (Lisa) and their
family Madison, McKayla and Dillan; Randy and his
daughter Ariel and her mother, Kelly; and David (Donna)
and their children Alyssa and Ashley; a sister, Aurora
Watson and a brother, Lorne Zora; a special cousin, Lee
Donison as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other
relatives. He was predeceased by his parents,
Michael and Annie Zora and sisters, Virginia, Victoria,
Margaret, Effie, Flora and a brother Nick.
Family spent a quiet time of reflection with Harry prior
to cremation. A Celebration of Harry's life will
take place at a later date and will be announced at that
time.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Harry's
name may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke
Foundation, 124, 430 - 6th Ave. S.E. Medicine Hat,
Alberta, T1A 2S8 or to the Children's Wish Foundation,
P.O. Box 1148, Medicine Hat, Alberta T1A 7H3.
